On February 12, 2013, the Commissioner of Labor and Industry adopted amendments to Regulation
.02 under COMAR 09.12.81 Elevator, Escalator, and Chairlift
Safety. This action, which was proposed for adoption in 39:25 Md. R. 1619—1620 (December 14, 2012), has been adopted
with the nonsubstantive changes shown below.
Effective Date: March 4, 2013.
Attorney General’s Certification
In accordance with State Government Article, §10-113, Annotated Code of Maryland, the Attorney General certifies
that the following changes do not differ substantively from the proposed text. The nature of the changes and the
basis for this conclusion are as follows:
Regulation .02: Text has been amended to reflect the correct effective date of the change to the regulation.
The proposed action listed the effective date of the amended regulation as February 18, 2013, rather than the
correct effective date of March 4, 2013. This correction of the date does not affect the substance of the proposed text.
