12-REA-39 Rick Grant Acker, (#7632) fined $500 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-511(a) and §16-701(a)(1)(xii) for failure to demonstrate compliance with continuing education required for license renewal.
10-REA-95 Charles Bulger, (#1674) fined $1,000 and license REVOKED for violating, BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-701(a)(2) and §16-701(a)(1)(x) and (xiii) and Code of Maryland Regulations ("COMAR") 09.19.05.03A for failure to exercise reasonable diligence to develop, prepare and communicate an appraisal and for failure to respond in writing to written communications from the Commission.
12-REA-14 Marvin Curtis, (#3502) fined $5000 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-511(a) and §16-701(a)(1)(xii) and (xiii) and COMAR 09.19.02.04 for failure to demonstrate compliance with continuing education required for license renewal. Additionally, for failure to comply with the Commission’s request for information during the audit in violation of §16-701(a)(1)(xiii) and COMAR 09.19.05.03A.
11-REA-45 Linda Deremer, (#2184) fined $500 and issued a Reprimand, for violating BOP, Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-701(a)(1)(xiii) and Standard Rule 1-1(c) of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice for performing an appraisal in a careless manner.
11-REA-03 Clifton Lewis, Jr., (24718) fined $500 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-511(a) and §16-701(a)(1)(xii) and (xiii) and COMAR 09.19.02.04 for failure to demonstrate compliance with continuing education required for license renewal.
12-REA-75 Kenneth Maurer, (#28879) fined $500 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-511(a) and §16-701(a)(1)(xii) for failure to demonstrate compliance with continuing education required for license renewal.
10-REA-119, 10-REA-123 and 10-REA-126, Kurt Rehak, (#20294) fined $4000 and license REVOKED for violating, BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §§16-701(a)(2) and §16-701(a)(1)(x) and (xiii) and Code of Maryland Regulations ("COMAR") 09.19.05.03A, for failure to exercise reasonable diligence to develop, prepare and communicate an appraisal in three separate appraisal engagements and for failure to respond in writing to three separate written communications from the Commission.
07-REA-56 David Stone, (#12745) fined $1,500, for violating BOP, Art., Annotated Code of Md., §§16-208(a)(1) and (b) and 16-701(a)(1)(xiii) and Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 09.19.05.01B, as well as the Conduct Section of the Ethics Rule and Standards Rules 1-3(a), 1-4(a), 1-4(b), 1-4(c), 1-4(c)(iii), 2, and 2-2(b)(xi) of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
11-REA-06 David Wick, (#11984) voluntarily surrendered his certified residential license for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §§ 16-312(b), 16-701(a)(1)(xii) & (xiii) and COMAR 09.19.05.03 for failure to respond to the Commission in writing within 30 days of receipt of a written communication from the Commission.

11-INSP-14 Daniel Casey, (#30066) reprimanded for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-701.1(a)(7) and COMAR 09.36.04.02A for failure to respond in writing within 30 days of receipt of a written communication from the Commission.
10-INSP-29 William Horne, (#29949) fined $500 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-701.1(a)(7) and COMAR 09.36.06.01F for failure to uphold, maintain, and improve the professional practice, integrity, and reputation of the home inspection industry; and COMAR 09.36.06.04A for failure to avoid conflicts of interest with a client or an owner of property that is subject to an inspection by the home inspector. Fined $500 for violating BOP Art., Annotated Code of Md., §16-701.1(a)(7) and COMAR 09.36.06.02B, for selling or offering to sell products for the repair of defects or the correction of deficiencies disclosed during an inspection for a period of one year from the date of the inspection.
