About Permits - Home Improvement Commission

The Commission's regulations provide that it is the obligation of the prime contractor on a home improvement project to: a) obtain all required building permits; or b) to make sure that all required permits have been obtained. Permits issued to a home improvement contractor must include the contractor's license number. Find your local Departments of Permits and Inspections to obtain all necessary permits.
