Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program - Workforce Development & Adult Learning
In 2022, the Maryland General Assembly enacted Senate Bill 518 - Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program, which established the Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program. The purpose of the program is to provide matching grants to eligible employers that pay for training programs attended by health care workers, resulting in increased opportunities for health care workers to receive training across the State.
The Department released a call for proposals on January 21, 2025. Applications will be due on April 4, 2025 and grants will begin on June 1, 2025. A pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To register, please email Casey Tiefenwerth.
