Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program

In 2022, the Maryland General Assembly enacted Senate Bill 518 - Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program, which established the Career Pathways for Healthcare Workers Program. The purpose of the program is to provide matching grants to eligible employers that pay for training programs attended by health care workers, resulting in increased opportunities for health care workers to receive training across the State.

The Department released a call for proposals on June 10, 2024. Applications will be due on August 26, 2024 and grants will begin on November 1, 2024. A pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To register, please email Brittney Hansen.
