When I think of Hispanic Heritage Month, I think of an opportunity to celebrate different Hispanic cultures and teach our youth and families to be proud of it. It is also a great opportunity to educate others about our cultures and help create an understanding and appreciation for our diversity. I believe that Hispanic Heritage should be celebrated everyday through the success of members of our community as well as the stories and perseverance of our youth!
