Maryland Lighthouse Industries and AI Internship Program - Workforce Development & Adult Learning
To help ensure Maryland’s future workforce is aware of, and prepared for, careers in sectors critical to the state’s economy, MD Labor is leveraging the Talent Innovation Fund (TIF) and the Cyber Maryland program to launch the Maryland Lighthouse Industries and AI Internship Program. This program supports internships and other career preparation programs for college seniors and recent graduates in life sciences, technology, aerospace and defense, and manufacturing.
Eligible applicants may apply for up to $150,000 to provide up to $10,000 in wages per intern, to offset a portion of administrative program costs, and to provide supportive services for interns, such as transportation, childcare, locating potential employment opportunities, and other wraparound support measures.
Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted. All applications must be submitted to [email protected].
