What Happens After the Hearing - Lower Appeals

Written decision and further appeals. You will receive your decision in writing, typically two to five weeks after your hearing was completed.

Hearing examiners cannot issue oral decisions at the time of the hearing.

Rights of further appeals. Any party may then take a further appeal from this decision to the Board of Appeals. The way to do that, and the deadline for doing so, will be set forth in the decision that you receive in the mail.
